Base Pricing for the Main Event (Optional Pre-Trip, Post-Trip, housing upgrades and certain activities will be additional, all prices are in US Dollars).

* Please note: Last Minute Rate has the following restrictions:

  • Cannot register for any activities that have an upcharge, or that require an advance headcount prior to this date.
  • Does not include any giveaways like T-shirts or Water Bottles.
  • Limited to Standard Housing only.
  • No special requests for special housing or food.
  • May or may not be included in the attendee roster, giveaways or pre-printed badges handed out to the attendees.

Cancellation Policy and Fine Print

  • Mosaic reserves the right to make appropriate and necessary changes to cost and schedule.
  • Cancellations will only be refunded after the event.
  • Cancellations by July 30, 2017 11:59 pm (PDT): full refund of the registration amount less all processing fees.
  • Cancellations by August 14, 2017 11:59 pm (PDT): full refund of the registration amount less a 25% cancellation fee and all processing fees.
  • Cancellations after August 14, 2017 11:59 pm (PDT): NO REFUND.
  • In the case of extreme circumstances, upon application, Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America (MOCA) may grant a full refund of the registration amount minus any unrecoverable expenses. Such extreme circumstances would include: illness that puts one at risk and/or would put others at risk that would preclude someone from traveling and/or participating in the event; an incapacitating accident or injury; a death or grave illness in one’s family. MOCA reserves the right to require documentation to substantiate the claim prior to issuing a refund. 
  • Processing fees include:
    • 10% of your total bill
    • $3.95 per registration
    • Any unrecoverable vendor fees specific to your registration
    • Any unrecoverable MOCA expenses specific to your registration


  • Membership

    You must be a member in good standing with one of the clubs listed below to register as a member (Florida is pending). Otherwise you need to register as a nonmember for an extra $50. Membership to your local Mosaic club will be verified early August. Anyone who signs up as a member and does not pass verification by August 10th with the local club will be billed the non-member rate automatically.

    Change Fee

    August 14th will be the VERY LAST DAY for you to make ANY changes to your registration on your own. After this date you will need to contact us at Event@MosaicOutdoor.org for anything pertaining to your registration.  Any change requests after August 14th will incur an $18 change fee per change unless authorized by the chair people.  Cancellation policies will override the change fee policy if you cannot attend the event.

    Starting on August 15th, an $18 change fee will be incurred PER CHANGE for the following:

    1. Travel Information if you are taking MOCA transportation.
    2. Updating or changing what activities you are planning to attend during the event (each day's activity is considered one change).
    3. Housing changes.

    Please note that by the August 14th date, many counts and charges have been finalized with vendors and cannot be changed at all. The change fee will be incurred if we are still able to change the activity, but no refund will be possible if the vendor costs are not recoverable.

    The above fee will not apply for changes related to items (activities and housing upgrades) where you are on a waiting list.

    Any fees paid or payable to vendors (including, but not limited to activity fees and transportation charges) will be non-refundable for changes made on or after this date.

    Why charge a fee?

    Once registration closes, we start the process of finalizing counts and payment with our vendors, preparing leader and participant packets, and preparing safety information. In order to make final preparations, we need to have accurate data on all participants involved. Many decisions, reports, signage, adjustments, transportation plans, etc. are based on this participant data. If during our final preparations, you request a change or update, you add as much as several hours worth of work for the volunteer event committee members to make that adjustment, taking our attention away from other much-needed event preparation. Be fair to your volunteer event committee. Please take the time to make sure you have given us all the information requested from you by August 14th.


    This includes:

    • What activities you plan on doing for EVERY day
    • Travel plans including full flight information if you are flying or if you are not flying letting us know how you are getting to/from the event
    • Reserving a space in and paying for your MOCA shuttle
    • Housing
    • Mixer Questions
    • Dietary Preferences
    • Allergies/emergency medical information
    • Correct T-Shirt Size

    PLEASE review your activity options and figure out your choices for the event BEFORE you start your actual registration. You have a lot of info to fill in for the registration process. You will only have 90 minutes to finish registering before your session times out. If that happens, you will lose all of your work, and your access code will have to be reset before you can try to register again for those that have Pre-Registered.

    PLEASE spend time looking over all the information on the event website. Please look at ALL pages & links before asking us any questions. It is almost certain that your questions are answered someplace on this website. While we are happy to help, each phone call or response to your emails takes up our volunteers' limited time.   We will update the website with answers to any questions that we forgot to cover.


    Our registration system provider, RegOnline, DOES NOT SUPPORT SAFARI OR AOL DESKTOP; people who use those browsers have had multiple problems ON THE LAST PAGE – for payment!!  You won’t be able to finish your registration!  Therefore, we recommend you use only current versions of MS Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
